NATO to defend every Ally from every threat, Deputy Secretary General says in visit to Poland
In light of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, there will be a “far more visible” NATO presence in Eastern Europe with far more large-scale exercsises, NATO Deputy Secretary General Ambassador Alexander Vershbow said in an address at the Multinational Corps North East Headquarters in Szczecin, Poland on Thursday (18 September 2014). He also stressed that all 28 Allies stand resolute in “our determination to defend every Ally from every threat.”
