Scientific Officer to ensure and develop operations related to philanthropic grant activities The LEO Foundation, one of the world's largest funders of dermatology research, is looking for a Scientific Officer to ensure and assist our significantly growing philanthropic activities in the grant giving team. With the overall aim of improving the lives for people living with skin diseases, we have very high ambitions for our philanthropic grant activities and plan to expand the activities significantly in the coming years. This means increased funding, outreach and focus on using the Foundation's independence and expertise as one of the largest private funders globally of dermatology research to support and strengthen a thriving skin ecosystem as a platform for creating global impact for people living with skin diseases. To help ensure and support this development, we are now looking for a new Scientific Officer who is familiar working within research, has knowledge of Danish university and/or university hospital research culture and processes and who has experience within writing and/or administering research applications and grants. In addition to this, we are also looking for someone who is a team player but who is also willing and able to work and develop solutions independently. Lastly, our new Scientific Officer is an effective communicator with attention to detail and quality who can represent and uphold our values of integrity, dedication, and ambition. Your key responsibilities will be focused around ensuring operations related to applications, expert reviews and administrative processes related to and driving the development and operations of grants in progress. In addition, you will also be tasked with supporting development and maintenance of our grant giving system LEOnora, supporting the management of existing grant initiatives and serving as main point of contact for applicants, grant holders and expert reviewers involved in assessing applications for the Foundation.
